Max Meditation™
Max Meditation™ System is a guided meditation method offered by the Modern Mystery School (MMS). It was developed by Founder Gudni Gudnason, drawing on his experience with ancient mystery teachings and years of training in Eastern and Western traditions, including yogic meditation and mind-body techniques from his time in the Himalayas.
The system is designed for both beginners and experienced meditators. Its structure combines several techniques to guide the practitioner into a deep meditative state. The meditation typically lasts 60–90 minutes and includes five distinct phases:
The 5 Components of Max Meditation™
Relaxation
A guided process to calm the physical body and slow the breath. This phase helps prepare the nervous system to enter meditation.Passive Meditation
The practitioner is guided to simply observe thoughts without judgment, allowing the mind to settle and thoughts to dissolve.Active Meditation
This part introduces focused awareness such as visualization, affirmations to engage the mind intentionally.Guided Visualization
A rich inner journey led by the facilitator, often working with themes such as empowerment, clarity, healing, or connecting with higher wisdom. No two sessions of Max Meditation journeys are ever the same and are unique to the group in attendance.Coming Back / Grounding
The session concludes with a slow return to wakefulness, ensuring the student is grounded and balanced to integrate their experience before leaving the space.
